Primary research

Primary research is new research carried to answer specific questions, it’s the type of research that you carry out yourself. This type of method of research is also known as field research.
Examples of primary research:
-surveys
-interviews
-observations

Secondary Research

Secondary research is a common research method; it involves using information that other people have provided. This type of research is also known as desk research.
Examples of primary research:
-reports
-studies by government agencies
-surveys

Qualitative Research

Qualitative method is a scientific method of observation to gather no numerical data.
Examples of qualitative research:
-focus groups
-independent interviews

Quantitative Research

Quantitative research Quantitative Research is used to quantify the problem by way of generating numerical data or data that can be transformed into usable statistics.
Examples of quantitative research:
-any method that will result in number values
-experiments

-clinical trials
