Section 1: be able to contribute to the setting of team and individual goals

Aim and Ideas 

1.1  identify the team goals

 The main aim for the team was to recreate a trailer for a gangster/crime movie. 

1.2 describe the process involved in planning  and deciding the teams goals

We planned that we would have different group members would be characters in the trailer for example, Daniel was the main character who went after his partners that turned their back on him and Sam would be the ex of the main character. The man that was leading our group helped us come up with ideas and he helped us take the shots for each scene.

Responsibilities and Roles

2.1 Organise own activities effectively within the agreed goals of the team

In the team we decided that if you aren't acting you have to be working on props or taking turns filming each scene or working on sound. I was the director, as a director i had to make sure that: everyone was quiet on set,shout action and cut, i also had to make sure the camera man and the sound man were ready and their equipment was working properly to be able to film the scene.

2.2 Provide information detailing own and other team members’ responsibilities

Some of my team member were acting:

 Sam, Daniel, Karim were kind of the main characters that were in front of the camera, when Karim and Dan weren't in front of the camera they worked on props,the camera and sound.

Jamie and Layton were in front of the camera at the end when Dan had to shoot them, but before that Layton and Jamie were doing sound and Jamie was working the camera a few times.

Deacon, Josh and Matthew were in charge of props, they had to help change the set. Josh and Karim were in charge of uploading each scene to the Macs so they could be edited together which they also did.

I was the director

Equipment:

Camera- we had a camera for filming 

Boom mic- to get clear audio from the characters 

Trolly- to get steady movement 

Camera stand- so the shots were stable and clear
Sound proof foam: voice overs 
Lighting: to create shadows and spotlights

Section 4: be able to review team activities 
 What went well and what was more difficult.

4.1 Feedback on own actions in relation to the overall team activities

I found coming up with ideas more difficult because we were only recreating the trailers and i found most times was just copying ideas from from the original trailer, i also found directing a bit difficult at time because working out if you should re film the scene again because of time management. My strength was taking lead and making sure all equipment was ready to be used in the scene. I learnt to be independent and make decisions for everyone as director. 

4.2 Describe team members contribution 

When it came to acting and being in front of the camera the team members performed well and they were very confident when saying their lines which made the trailer even better, the members that filmed and held boom mic did well. But they were a bit of focus between set changes which slowed us down because they weren't helping a lot they were just talking. In the future i would like for the team members to be focused and i would like for hem to contribute more to the project.

Communicating Ideas

  We all struggle to come up with a plan but we managed to with the help of the man that was working there on the set. And we had to listen to each others ideas on what we wanted to happen in each scene, one scene that we were all passionate about was the killing montage at the end with Dan, Layton and Jamie, we were all throwing in ideas about what we wanted to happen in that scene and it got a little bit  overwhelming for Dan so we just decided that he should decide on what he wanted to happen since he was the main character.
